We can help repair your flagpole

For many different reasons, the most common being age and weather, flagpoles will need to be inspected, serviced, and repaired from time to time. Sometimes it will be as simple as replacing the rope or cable that has worn down, while other times it may consist of extensive refurbishment or replacement of some or all the hardware.

Some common issues we have addressed for customers are:

1. The ornament and/or truck at the top of the pole has come loose. It is close to or already has fallen off the pole.
2. A flag is not staying in place because the internal halyard system within the flagpole has worn down and no longer locks in place.
3. The clips, beaded ring, and/or weight have worn down and need to be replaced.

In addition, if a customer has a flag in presentable condition that is onsite at the time of the repair then it will be raised. The customer can also request that our team provide a new high-quality, American Made flag as part of their repair package.

Rope and Cleats

Cleats are the cast aluminum parts that are used to tie down the rope on External Halyard flagpoles so it does not move up or down.

Pole and Hardware

Butt Diameter

The diameter at the bottom of the pole, also referred to as Base Diameter.

Flash Collar

The finishing touch around the bottom of the pole that is made from aluminum and coated to match the flagpole itself. It serves the function of protecting the ground sleeve from large amounts of water and other elements.

Counterweight

Used with the Internal Halyard flagpoles to make sure the flag hangs close to the pole, flies properly, and lowers easily.

External Halyard

System where the flagpole operates using an exposed pulley and rope halyard system on the outside of the pole.
